David Lynch’s Interview Project bills itself as:

Interview Project is a portrait of everyday Americans filmed during an extensive road trip throughout the United States. Beautifully shot and edited, Interview Project captures the ups and downs of the human experience through the meaningful accounts of these people.

You tube has a couple of the interviews up already (the main site has about 50 of them up now) and they are pretty awesome. The project reminds me of a fairly similar project where this guy went around the U.S. and paid people 25 cents to interview them. But, I digress here is one of the interviews.

CNN Video Blog: Freshman Year

CNN has a pretty interesting video blog done by two freshmen Congressmen Jason Chaffetz and Jared Polis.

The video blog is done fairly well as it follows two freshmen congressmen in their first year on the hill.

Jason Chaffetz

Rep. Jason Chaffetz is a freshman Republican congressman representing the 3rd District of Utah. He was elected in November, winning two-thirds of the vote against a Democratic challenger.>

Jared Polis

Rep. Jared Polis is a freshman Democratic congressman representing the 2nd District of Colorado. He was elected in November to the seat held by Mark Udall, who ran and won for U.S. Senate. Polis defeated his Republican opponent, gaining 62 percent of the vote.

Benford’s Law

Benford’s Law roughly states that values of measurements in nature often have a logarithmic distribution. Which produces a counter-intuitive result that when applied to a wide variety of natural data sets, including stock prices and population numbers, etc. these things tend to follow that distribution.

In this video it give a rough explanation of how Benford’s Law can be used in Fraud Detection.
