Starting a Ph.D. in Computer Science
March 15th, 2023 | Published in Personal
I am pleased to announce I am scheduled to start my Ph.D. at Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge, England, this April.
My research will be on the intersection of water quality, remote sensing using satellite imagery and machine learning. Over the last ten months, I have been working primarily with satellite imagery to analyze palm oil crops, which has been a lot of fun. With almost 15+ years of environmental analysis for my day job, I am excited about diving deep into a narrow problem. I also have two supervisors that are wonderful and have provided excellent guidance.
Anyway, I will write more as I can on this journey.
